New page

Gradual typing allows statically typed and dynamically typed code
to coexist in a single program. In this talk, we apply gradual
typing to a MetaOCaml-like multi-stage language. A key design
issue lies in how to extend casts, which are used to mediate
between statically typed and dynamically typed code, to code
types. We discuss a few possible semantics of casts and issues
in supporting eval.
