The ExaStencils DSL ExaSlang by Christian Lengauer
The talk will sketch the present state of the domain-specific language ExaSlang for the engineering of Multigrid solvers in the DFG project ExaStencils. ExaStencils come in four layers of abstraction, of which the most concrete layer, ExaSlang 4, has been fully implemented so far. We will illustrate the domain-specific language constructs, report on the optimizations applied by the code generator and show some initial performance results. We will conclude with what has yet to be done in project ExaStencils.
